Privacy policy

This policy describes BrainRush: Learn, Race & Win, Android package com.brainrush.learn, published by Akshay Baldia. Contact akshaybaldia@gmail.com about privacy or your data.

What stays on your device

BrainRush stores questions, answers, sessions, scores, bookmarks, mistakes, achievements, preferences and pending uploads in its local app database. Core quizzes and untimed practice work offline. Question reports remain local unless you choose to export them. Export and share actions send the selected information to the app or recipient you choose.

Accounts, backup and rankings

When online services are available, Firebase Authentication creates an anonymous account so your results can be synchronized. You can choose to link a Google account. Linking provides Firebase with your account identifier and Google account details, such as your email address and profile information. Game records, dates, answer summaries, app version, preferences, bookmarks and unlocks can be stored in Cloud Firestore for backup and restore.

Leaderboard entries contain a player identifier, the display label “Player”, score, mode, category and week. Rankings may be publicly readable. They do not display your email address. “Synced” means uploaded; it does not mean independently verified.

App protection and diagnostics

Firebase App Check and Google Play Integrity may process app, device and attestation information to help protect online services. Optional Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics collection is off by default and can be enabled in Settings. If enabled, these services may process app interactions, installation identifiers, device/app characteristics and crash diagnostics. Core play does not depend on opting in.

Advertising

BrainRush integrates Google AdMob. Where required and available, Google's consent interface asks for privacy choices before ads can be requested. You can revisit these choices in the app's Privacy screen. Ad requests are non-personalized, but Google may still process identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, ad interactions and diagnostic data for delivery, measurement, security and fraud prevention. Ad availability depends on consent, connectivity and provider approval. Daily Quiz does not offer reward ads. Virtual coins have no cash value.

Purposes and providers

We use the information above to operate quizzes, save and restore progress, display rankings, provide requested support, deliver optional advertising and diagnose problems when you opt in. Firebase and AdMob are Google services. Read Google's privacy policy and how Google uses information from partner apps. Service providers may process information outside your country, including the United States. Transport uses provider encryption; no system can guarantee absolute security.

Retention and deletion

Local records remain until you delete them in the app, clear its storage or uninstall. Cloud account and game records remain until deleted. In-app account deletion removes the associated Firebase account, saved player records and leaderboard entries when the online deletion request succeeds; connectivity or recent sign-in may be required. Uninstalling alone does not delete cloud records. See account and data deletion instructions, including an email request route when you cannot use the app. Google controls retention of information it processes independently under its own policies.

Age and your choices

BrainRush is intended for people aged 13 and above and is not directed to children under 13. The app asks for an age acknowledgement, not a date of birth. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data or withdraw optional consent. Contact us to make a request; we may need to verify ownership before acting. If you believe a child under 13 has provided data, contact us.
